Internal Affairs
The Internal Affairs Committee focuses on improving the member experience and building strategies that strengthen engagement across BITS. The team supports recruitment, optimizes internal processes, and helps bring members together through coffee chats, socials, and behind-the-scenes planning.
Events
The Events Committee plans and hosts organization-wide programs, from networking opportunities to mentorship events and club socials. It gives members space to blend event planning, career development, and community-building while shaping the social culture of the club.
Corporate Relations
The Corporate Relations Committee manages outreach with companies and professional partners through sponsorships, alumni connections, and external relationships. The team helps create value through speaker events, info sessions, case competitions, and opportunities that expand BITS beyond campus.
Design
The Design Committee creates the visual identity for BITS through flyers, banners, digital assets, and promotional materials. Using thoughtful design systems, color, and branding, the team helps represent the club and attract students to its events, programming, and initiatives.
Marketing
The Marketing Committee helps make BITS a recognizable and growing brand. Through digital marketing, content creation, strategy, research, and brand management, the team communicates the club’s value and keeps the broader community engaged.
Tech
The Tech Committee organizes technical workshops that help members build skills they may not always learn in class. Through workshops, projects, and competitions, the team introduces students to areas like data analysis, visualization, cleaning, and predictive modeling.
WebDev
The Web Development Committee builds and maintains BITS web applications and the club website. Members apply real web development tools to showcase programming, share opportunities, and create digital products that support both BITS members and the broader community.
Newsletter
The Newsletter Committee curates BAIT-related updates, professional opportunities, and community news for BITS members. The newsletter helps connect BITS, Rutgers, and the professional world while keeping students informed about events, initiatives, and useful industry insights.
